Beautiful rich brown sable quality lake from the same maker of our Krazycolour dyes.

Usage rate: approx. 1/2 - 1 tsp per 2 cups baking soda, you may add more for deeper shades.

Oil soluble

Soap, Skincare & Bath: Yes
Lip Products: Yes
Eye Products: Yes

DIRECTIONS:  This powder disperses best in liquid oil and oil based products.  This powder can be used in water based products if first dissolved in liquid glycerin.  For dry products, add desired amount of powder to dry ingredients. Incorporate colour to formula slowly, using amount as desired.   Adding this colour to a white base will produce a beautiful pastel colour.  Adding this colour to a clear base will produce a darker true colour.

TIPS: Using too much colour may cause staining. Test your final product to insure optimal performance and no staining. Protect work areas and clothing when mixing. 

STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location.

Jury is still out…

East to use, but the color is more gray then brown. Hoping to see them morph with an FO with high vanillin content.

Thank you for your review of Brown Sable Lake. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear that the color was not what you were expecting. I can definately understand the appeal of wanting to find that perfect shade to blend with the dreaded (but oh so lovely smelling) vanilla tone. This lake does look different depending on the product it's used in, but when using it in a bath bomb, I have used additional colourants like an orange lake for example, to warm up that tone and cancel the blue.

It has been some time since your review, so I hope that you have found an alternative that works. Thank you for trying our product and I hope that you continue to do so moving forward!

Nice colour

This is the only place I could find a brown lake, works great, very easy to use. I often add yellow 6 to it get a slightly different shade.
